The Cats

Cats are one of the most popular human pets and were domesticated by humans nearly 9500 years ago. Cats are predators, so they have teeth and a digestive system that specializes in digesting meat, they have two strong smells, two hearing, and they can see in the dark. Cats are known to sleep at a rate of 13-14 hours a day, and some cats may sleep for about 20 hours to maintain their energy, and prefer to sleep in sunny areas during the day because they like warmth and exposure to the sun, and unlike humans, they are not bothered by high temperatures until their body temperature reaches about 52 degrees Celsius.

Cats are famous for their love of play especially the little ones, they love to climb and sit in high places, and even when they fall from high places, they can adjust their position so that they touch the ground with all four limbs, and most cats hate to be immersed in water, except the Turkish fan strain, which is characterized by its strong love of water, so it is called a swimming cat. Female cats give birth to between 3-5 cats per abdomen, and at birth the cats are small and blind.
