- Infection: This includes any type of infection such as cough, leptospirosis (parvovirus), heart disease, canine fever, and others that cause lethargy.
- Organic diseases and metabolic problems: Several chronic diseases can weaken dogs, including heart problems, liver problems, diabetes, and hypoglycemia.
- Medication: There is a wide range of medications for dogs that can cause side effects; Like lethargy and fatigue, when you notice any of these symptoms after you start administering a drug or using a new product such as flea treatments, it is necessary to contact a veterinarian immediately.
- Poisoning: For example, eating certain foods can cause poisoning in dogs, such as garlic, shallots, or onions.
