Estrus cycle

This is the period during which a woman's sexual arousal increases, as she prepares for the mating process, and the ovary is fully active, as it produces a large number of eggs and hormones responsible for physical and behavioral changes, as well as symptoms of this period lasting 9 to 10 days in the absence of mating, and disappears after four days in case of mating, and among the signs and symptoms of this cycle are:

• Swelling of the genital opening and increased the number of vaginal secretions.

• Increased anxiety and movement

• frequent urination.

• The rubbing ball on the furniture, especially the head and flanks.

• Prolonged meows, feeling unwell.

• Increased affection and tenderness in cats, in addition to frequent contact with their owners.

• Anorexia.

Ovulation cycle

This is the period during which the egg is released from the ovary when it is ready for fertilization by a sperm, and the ovulation of cats differs from other animals so that ovulation is not automatic, and it occurs only in the case of sexual intercourse between the male and the female, and the egg takes about 24 to 30 hours from the postponement of the descent to the fallopian tubes until fertilization, then the fertilized egg moves to the uterus and settles in until the fetus grows, so it is possible to stop the symptoms of marriage and prevent their reappearance by giving a hormone injection at the beginning of the symptoms.
